Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn, born August 19 1965 was an American actress. She also works as an actor and producer. She is best known for portraying the role of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). In her role as Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The series ended on August 13, 2012, following the conclusion of the seventh season. Sedgwick's role as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also notable. Sedgwick was nominated to an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's other roles include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's singles (1992) The Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald and is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist.
